1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Tree Hugging Challenge Registry ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials on the Platform for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
  • Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on the Platform
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

3. User Submissions

By submitting challenges, media, or other content to the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the right to submit all content you provide
  • Your content is accurate and truthful
  • Your content does not violate any third-party rights
  • Your content complies with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Verification and Accuracy

While we strive to verify all challenges submitted to the Platform, we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of all information. Participants are responsible for providing truthful and accurate information. False or misleading submissions may result in removal from the Platform and loss of recognition.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit any harmful or malicious code
  • Interfere with the Platform's operation or security

6. Disclaimer

The materials on the Platform are provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

7. Limitations

In no event shall the Platform or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the Platform, even if we or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

8. Modifications

We may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using this Platform, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
